The latest generation Hyper Achromatic offers a sophisticated, evenly-balanced sound with a high level of transparency which draws you into the musical performance.
Hyper utilises OCC (Ohno Continous Casting) high purity copper conductors with a PEF (Foamed Polyethylene) dielectric, This design and construction combines wide bandwidth with excellent resistance to RFI (Radio Frequency Interference), which can raise noise levels with subsequent loss of low level detail in a poorly shielded cable.
The Hyper combines high-quality materials with our next-generation high precision Achromatic X RCA connector.
The result is a natural-sounding interconnect which achieves a large open soundstage and fine levels of resolution without any sense of exaggerated ‘detail,’ which is superficially impressive but quickly fatiguing when listening.

And it’s this sense of evenness in its delivery that elevates the RCA R1 over other entry to mid level cables. Sure, many of its rivals will do most things right, while perhaps excelling in one area over an other (often aiding system tuning), but the R1’s skill is in how it allows all elements within the soundstage to be delivered consistently.
This makes it such a good sonic allrounder while helping to smooth things out without detriment to musical detail. Highly recommended.
For the price, I was surprised at just how good the Atlas Hyper RCA R1 interconnects were. I must emphasise that I compared them against my elite references.
As such, the Atlas designs not only kept up but competed well and did so at an often lower price meaning the Atlas Hyper RCA R1 cables not only provided great performance but value for money to boot.
