Hyper Achromatic Z/S Bi-wire
OFC Speaker cable.

Hyper Achromatic is a highly-versatile OFC speaker cable offering discerning audiophiles a true taste of ‘high-end’ performance in bi-wired or bi-amped hi-fi systems. Available terminated in Z (Z-plug) or S (Spade) versions.
The bi-wire variation of our Hyper speaker cable. Bi-wire cables can offer performance benefits when the two halves of the loudspeaker's crossover are electrically ‘separated’ to allow bi-wiring (and bi-amping, if so desired). Available in 2–4 and 4–4 connector configurations.
The cable employs conductors comprising 72 0.25mm² high-purity OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) strands with an anti-vibration filler encapsulated within a carefully selected high-efficiency FEP dielectric coating.
Our acclaimed low-mass non-conductive Achromatic Z connectors eliminate any possible detrimental effects of magnetic eddy currents, and precision-calibrated cold-weld termination gives a superior connection to conventional solder fixing, with increased signal continuity because of fewer ‘barriers’ created by different materials.

Reviews. What the specialist media say…

The Hyper Achromatic noticeably notches up the clarity and realism of all the pieces I play, and is certainly a high performing cable worthy of any decent audio system.

…they have a premium feel and finish to them that is belied by their relatively modest price. The cables they replaced are an order of magnitude more expensive, so I was braced for some diminution of sound quality. What I got instead was an extremely even-handed presentation, with no obvious emphasis or indeed de-emphasis of any part of the frequency spectrum. Bass was fast and tuneful, the mid-range felt well-weighted and articulate and the higher frequencies light and airy. This was genuinely both a surprise and a delight.
The Hypers more than held their own against their predecessors and made long listening sessions both enjoyable and fatigue-free.

This all points to improved dynamics and the more I listen, the greater punch I hear on tracks like Peter Gabriel’s Sledgehammer.
There is no doubt in my mind the updated Hyper speaker cable range represents a significant stride forward, and it’s impressive to see the advances that Atlas has managed to bring to the range.
